High School Mentorship Opportunities!

For Student Mentors, hands-on teaching experience can increase college opportunities and help launch lifelong careers in music education. The young people they work with are enriched and find positive role models for their lives. Therefore, Excelsus offers a limited number of advanced, High School musicians an opportunity of a lifetime! Our Mentors will get to inspire and motivate up-and-coming young musicians through:

• leading sectionals
• modeling musical examples on their instrument
• giving individual help when needed.

In addition to inspiring students, our small group of Mentors will have the pleasure of learning from the best themselves! Through every step of the "Musical Feast", each Student Mentor will have their OWN Professional Mentor as well. The Professionals will help the Student Mentors by:

• Meeting daily to prepare for the day's courses
• Encouraging them in their teaching
• Sharing their experience and passion for music making and teaching!
•Conducting small, private lessons and ensemble coachings with the Student Mentors

To set up an interview and audition for the Student Mentor opportunity, please E-mail Us or call (562) 438-9950.

A Professional Mentor will contact you to set up an interview.
